signing of an MOU-between-Buhweju-district-and-SNV for a-4-year-project

Above in picture, from the left is the District Chairman Mr Deo Atuhaire, followed by the Deputy CAO with the team from SNV, signing an MOU on the 13th of June 2023.

The MOU is between Buhweju District Local government and SNV(Netherlands Development Organization), for a 4 year project that will focus on supporting small holder farmers, Dairy farming breeding, Saving energy like biodigesters, supporting Tea factories in renewable energy among others. The project will take about19 billions  funded by the government of Netherlands.

SNV is a Netherlands Development Organization that works on three themes: gender equality and social inclusion, climate adaptation and mitigation, and strong institutions and effective governance, and this is done across three sectors: agri-food, energy, and water.
